Tasting Notes: The Clos Vougeot has a deep red colour with an exceptional aromatic
intensity, and with concentrated fragrances of black fruit. On the palate, it is classy,
elegant, full-bodied, forceful, and has a long finish. The Clos Vougeot has a very good
balance between being mellow and very slightly acidic.
Recommended dishes: After aging for a few years, the Clos Vougeot will match
wonderfully with powerful dishes such as hind or a young wild boar, but also with an
